In everyday emergencies, the West Valley City Fire Department asks for your help by adding ICE (In Case of Emergency) contacts to your mobile phone. First responders and hospital staff can quickly access these contacts to notify family or friends and gather critical medical information when you are unable to communicate.

To participate, simply add “ICE” in your phone’s address book with the name and number of your emergency contact. If you have multiple contacts, label them ICE1, ICE2, ICE3, and so on.

By using ICE, your phone becomes a lifesaving tool, helping first responders act quickly when seconds matter.
